Oil change during endurance races?

I am only 20 laps into the 24 hour Le Mans and the red oil change light came on. I pitted but do not see "change oil" as an option when changing tires & re-fueling. Before entering the race I went to GT Auto and did an oil change.

Is there a way to change oil at a pit stop?
Should I just ignore the red light?
I hate the idea of seeing that red light for 22 or so more hours of racing.

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You cannot change oil during a race, it has to be done at the GT auto in the GT home/life screen. Should just ignore it but it does reduce the power of the car the longer its on.

At this time, you cannot change oil during the endurance race.

Have your car driven many KM's/Miles?
Maybe you should have done an engine overhaul before you started the endurance.

I recently bought the car (an Audi R8) from the UCD and drove just a bit for practice and tuning. Stupid me, but I did not check mileage :ouch:.

I did change oil before race, and in the other enduros I have driven (almost all of them) I have not seen the oil light come on.

I will just keep at it for a while and hope the car does not loose too much power to be competitive.
