Was just wondering if peoples oil lights came on during the long endurance (9hour tskuba or 24hr) and wheather it made a difference to the car while racing, cheers
I suppose it could come on, but it would make such little difference you wouldn't even notice it (you'd drop a couple of HP). Change the oil before you race and you'll be fine though.
My FGT has nearly 70.000kms, the last time i did an oil change was at 40.000kms. Now the power doesn't go down anymore (805HP), and it still works like a charm
I had the light come on early during the Nurburg 4hr and i noticed the difference, lap times were slower and the acceleration and top end were affected. i was using the BMW M3 GTR Race Car.
