Ok, everyone can see my not so great video in the other thread but here is one where I actually don't screw up to bad.....anyway, let me know what you think...

(and yes, it's to dark but I can't figure out how to fix that)

My better drift vid....
 
Very good driftin. Is that the only car you drift with? Or do you use others?Btw, which forum do I post pics of me driftin?
 
Ok, here is a crude list of the cars I can drift although I think I'm the best with the MR2

Skyline R34 V-SpecII
Lancer Evo VII
MR2 GT-S
S15
RX7 Infini III
Saleen Mustang
Nissan 240
Hachi Roku

ummmm, I think that's all, if anyone really really wants me to, tomorrow after work I'll make a small vid featuring quick shots of all the cars I drift with.
 
not bad.. better than me when i started a little while ago... i drift the mr2 alot and i know its faults but definatly push for more links and more extreme angles..

hmmmmm...good variety of cars but best Drifter with the SW20 cant really say than. you can only say it if youve challenged or actually seen how the others drift. but yeah i guess you my be pretty good since your good with the SW20. oh also i wanna know if you can go fast in it, other than driftin it, if its alright. the SW20 truely is a challenging car though cause of the oversteer at braking and under at full throttle.

mine SW20 does 1:20's on trial mountain and best is 1:19.656

He said he was the best with that car, out of all the cars he listed. He didn't say he was the best SW20 drifter on GTP. Please read carefully before you post a reply.;)
 
i guess. oops mabad than. you know im gettin tired of this drift thread. people in hea just trip over everything even if its small. it maybe the team things or these new people but i dont care. im headin to another thread now where things can really be accomplished. not just tryin to slide around a corner, its all about speed and passin the finish line in first now. i dont know bout you guys but im moving on. but ill check here and there in a while. just tired of everyone thas all............................
 
ummmmm, ok, anyway.....I need to get a wheel setup cause I think that would help me a lot....I can drift more extreme angles but it's so hard to hold them with the controler and I think it would be a lot easier if I had a wheel in front of me......hmmm, gotta save the money now. haha

oh, as for going fast when not drifting....I've been driving GT3 since it came out...I preordered the game....I played GT2 and GT1 the entire time they were "modern" so when it comes to normal driving...well, I just got tired of it, drifting brings a whole new level to the game and has got me playing regularly again....plus drifting is MUCH more challenging than grip racing.

Personally I hate that band, and I hate that song, but that's just personall taste. Breakers right though, that song has been in too many drift vids, for what reason? I have no idea. ;)
 
No offense, but all these drifting videos have all become the same to me. Maybe a little different stlyes and turns on some, but almost every drift video i've seen here in the forums are basically the same except with diff. cars, I want to see something unique, new and different. Cars being perpendicular to turns would be nice (cudamans' vid's the only one i've seen this in). Criticize me for being an a** but i'm bored with all these drift vids.
 
well, the song, cause it was simply the first one I saw that I thought would match so I grabbed it, I didn't exactly put THAT much thought into it.....as for drift vids, I would agree if I was trying to compete with anyone here but I was simply looking for people's input on my style and what I might do to improve and the only way anyone can tell me that is if they watch a vid.....
 
It was pretty good......MR2s are a good choice for a drift car, I'd like to see more of them, personally. You definately look like you are on the right track. I think you can get more angle with it if you practice enough. The mid-engine layout can get you into a drift easy enough, however, keeping the angle can be tricky. Just takes time.

I'm confident that you can do it. Keep up the good work!!!!

Well hopefully my new compilation coming out will ease that anxious heart of yours. I hope to bring something new to the scene.
 
And as for this video, once again, good work. I'd work on that brightness a little bit, but good drifts, also try some other view angles.
