My son (8 years old) has just got GT5 after i spent ages telling him how i grew up with GT through the years, but he (and subsequently I) can actually race. All we're able to do it manage our driver in GT mode?! What that all about, i want to drive cars, not manage drivers.

Am i missing something obvious?!:dunce:

Chose the big reddish one that says A-spec events. You get to drive them.

B-spec is the driver manager part of the game.
 
Uhhhh....arcade mode anyone?
 
Well more specifically, A-spec for a career so if BOTH of you want to start your own careers, you both need your own PSN accounts, easy enough.

If you just want to race eachother, go into arcade mode. If you want specific cars to race that arcade mode doesnt offer outright, save them in GT life as a favorite and it defaults as accessable cars to use in arcade.
