Well hello.
I'm gonna bother this forum once more by asking some questions. A comrade of mine is getting rid of his old Clevo M57RU gaming laptop, purchased in 2008, with the T9500 and 8800M and I'll probably buy it from him, seeing I lack a laptop.

I really need to know if the Core2Duo T9500 @ 2.6GHz is a good mobile processor for gaming. Also, if the nVidia GTX8800M is still a potent graphics card. I won't drag it to levels of BF3 and Skyrim, but I want atleast TF2 and MW3. Anyways, help is appreciated, I know you GTP'ers know this stuff 👍

It should do great for TF2 but i'm not entirely sure about Modern Warfare 3..

Personally, I use "Can You Run It?" to give me an idea if some older systems can run some games or not.

Hopefully it helps you :indiff:

Also, i'd look at a replacement battery too, just to be on the safe side if you're going to be using it at school or something

I think that should run those games quite nicely with mixed graphic settings.

By the way, how much RAM does it have?

8800 will be fine for anything on the Source Engine (IE TF2), and Warfare 3 (the jokes about the graphics and that you can run it on a toaster are true).
