Old GT menu music + GT5 = AWESOMENESS

Just did something I was thinking about months ago... I did a selection with the best menu music from GT2 and GT4 and made a special playlist on GT5... I'm a big fan of the original menu tunes, specially the garage ones wich I do miss a lot in GT5... these songs had a special mood or something, I simply loved to be @ my garage checking my cars while listening to them and now GT5 soundtrack misses this atmosphere...

And I noticed that depending on wich settings do you do on the sound menu these songs play even on the screen before entering the track (where it shows the track, settings menu, etc...) That's awesome because I was tired of that 2 songs...

I don't know if its allowed, but I'll upload these songs somewhere and I can share a link if some of you want...

Yeah, it really works wonders... but do a selection first and choose your favorites, I dont like the racing music much, but the menu tunes are brilliant :) I love the music from the Driving Missions screen from GT4, its called Mission Impossible... I remember being thrilled to do the missions while listening to it...

It's these kind of things that makes us "GranTurismophiles" :P
 
They were AWESOME!! Must be nostalgia speaking, but i think they were the best in the series lol... i really dislike the menu music in GT5... too laid back for my liking lol

I've been using most of my favorites from GT 1 to 4, for the past few months now. I love Accelerator by Gearwhore! (does that band name violate the AUP?)
 
Ughh... that reminds me. I need to rebuild a play list for GT. I had a sweet electronic playlist for wipeout but what music would go well with a RUF Yellowbird? I got to think about this one.

Awesome nostalgia hit!!! I may even dig out my GT1 disc just for a quick play about! Would love to get a hold of all the music from GT1 :D
