Hiya. I have an old original logitech driving force. I have been wanting to upgrade for a long long time but the money is just never there. It's a pretty nice wheel anyways, really. What I'm wondering is if it's compatible with the PS3 and Gran Turismo 5/6? Thanks.

anything more...concrete? :)

I gotta make sure before putting together some kinda of racing seat/cockpit thing.

Tough to figure out on google because there are so many different driving force, all the google results show the Driving force GT.

It worked on GT5, and I'm 99% sure it works on GT6.

In fact, I'd be shocked if it didn't.

The old Driving Force Pro is way better than the Driving Force GT so I don't blame you for hanging onto it.

Once you're ready to upgrade to a G27 or T500 though, you'll realize that the Driving Force wheels are essentially just toys though.

Why can't you plug it in and find out for yourself? There is this list though.

That's a thought! I just don't have GT5 or 6 yet.

It's not a pro, though, it's just a driving force. Black and blue, kind of a strange shaped wheel. Definitely toy-like as you mentioned, but still not too shabby.

Didn't the original Driving Force have PS2 controller plugs? I know one of the pre-DFP Logitech PS2 wheels did, but I'm not sure if it was that one.

Says here that USB is common to all models.

I'm willing to bet the Driving Force will work, I see no reason for it not to. It's a directinput HID device so it'll be fine. I don't know for sure though, but it will work. So basically I'm not certain, but I am certain.
