I recently decided to put dirt tires on my '86 MR2 and have a go at rally. Now I'm hooked, and have quite a few mid '80s cars tuned for dirt racing, but I have no one to race with or against. I would like to set up a rally racing series focusing on fun, for like-minded drivers. Races could be divided into two groups; Group A- for cars with between 300-450hp, and Group B- for cars with under 300hp. The only requirements for entry would be dirt tires(obviously), and a production car built before 1999. Any suggestions for additional rules will be read. As far as course selection goes- the sky's the limit, from tarmac stages to user-generated tracks. As I am simply speculating, any actual event dates and times will be posted at a later date(assuming people want to participate). I am looking for some feedback from willing participants in a series of this nature, so that I know how many people I can expect to participate.
