Let me tell you the weirdest **** in the new times. While I was in a site called ArtistDirect.com, I went to the Alternative Rock catagory, and clicked in Today's Alternative Rock. When I was looking in the Greatest Artists of Alternative Rock, I saw Eminem in #12!!!!!! Am I dreaming or this must be some kind of preposterous ****?! Well if Eminem were doing rock, I'd say he'd do rap metal. This is so weird, my head is gonna pop out!! :odd: :eek: :odd: :eek: :odd: :eek: :eek:

Just like rappers, to completely disregard the music.
 
what a bunch of trash. stop going to that site man. if they categorize eminem as alternative, maybe thay will categorize miles davis as rap or the beatles as techno

Music categories are all mince anyway. It's justa cheap way of pigeonholing new artists into some style, so that genre-drones can go buy the new stuff without using their (doubtless under-utilised) minds.

That reminds me sooooooooooooooooooooooo much of the Marylin Manson situation.

He busted out with that cover of "Sweet Dreams",.... made it a HUGE hit,.... then all these p*ssy light alternative freaks went out and bought the album...... one of the most brutal, dark and devious albums ever released. :lol: Dumb asses...... :lol:

Look at that list. I count one, maybe two half-decent bands (SOAD, Goldfinger) in there. Eminem is definetely in the top 4 in that list. I don't see what the big deal is.
 
Well, I'm saying he should be in the top four out of those bands. And I don't like the guy's music at all.
