I was just at HIN - Philly and they had Maden or some gay game playin and everyone was around watchin these two duesche bags play....


I'm entering my car in HIN - Atlantic City on Otober 23rd and I was thinking that we could setup GT3 drift expo or some type of GT3 drifting where you qualify to be able to drift in competition at HIN.. I would really need GTPlanet.net to sponsor it... You have no idea how big this would make GTPlanet... I dunno if GT4 will be out by then but im willing to make this happen if some people on the east coast would help me along w/ GTPlanet....

thats a good one, i hope there come to san mateo and ill be at san mateo and ill show them some gt3 drifting ^_^ or pm jordan about it
 
I hate Import car shows now, I remember when it used to cost 10-15 to get into one, now its at close to 30?

The idea is nice but it will require a lot of work. I've seen this done with local shops in the area where they hold comps. during car meets and the winner gets something. Winner advances to play in a tourney of all car meet winners where they get a bigger prize.
 
i like it, but im on the west coast. Vegas. and i dont think hin is coming here :grumpy: That would be a sik idea too. BUT the only problem is the kids that would go on and not know how to drift on GT3 and would make everyone who did upset. Thats just what i see. I dont really know how to explain it. Anyone else see what im sayin lol.
 
sounds like fun to bad its on the east side... damn... should make one over on the west side... dang... ill make one if i can find the nearest place for everyone In CA

everyone at hin would go away pissed cuz they cant drift their civic.
 
hey monkey i'm gonna take your avatar ok? could you tell me if that site you went to has any other drift related icons? sorry off topic.

On topic:
I think that competitors should send in videos to GTP. It'd be like D1 and FormulaD conpetitions having singles runs and then GTP judges select the final 16 to do tandem drifts at HIN or whatever car show. That sound good? (this is if GTP sponsors)

sure take the avatar i dont mind lol. There already are drift competitions online in GTP. They arent D1 or Formula D style but they are pretty koo. Some good drifters cant do it tho cause they dont have a video capture card...that would be me lol. Good idea you had, and i like the d1 style better then the current too
 
I went to one in charllotte NC (closest to where I live) and I set up my Ps2 and had a big crowd pplaying GT3 drift spec, they all got mad though from spinning out from too much gas
 
HAHHAHA :lol: oh man.... i got to try that... just go to the mall with your tv and ps2 ahahaha and just set it down in the middle of it all and BAM :lol:

Thanks. Haha this thread gets more detailed as time goes on. BTW i don't have a capture card either. Kinda sucks because I want some feedback on my drifting.
 
I got an idea, lets have it in the southeast, probably Atlanta, since I'm in MS and other members are from the east part thing. yea, sounds good. we can have a competition, and MONKEY D WILL OWN!!!!!!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
