i've been playing N4SU since 12/28 and im about 86/111 complete. So today i decided i was gonna let N4SU rest so i grab my favorite S14 and i pick a track and get ready to drift... It seems i have lost all my drifting skills:( I wanna cry... i can't even grip race that well... the N4SU charachteristics fukced me up so bad... Alll of tonihgt im gonna constanly drift Complext string in a stock 86 to try and get some of what I lost back.... I dunno if ill ever be the same :(
 
haha i had the same problem haha. i couldnt get my 86 trueno to hit 1:19's on trial mountain yesterday haha and with care practice i work my way up....

I feel ya, Sal. The drift mode in NFSU, screwed me up pretty bad. However, it only took me 3 days to beat NFSU, so the damage was minimal. Keep practicing man, you'll get it back. ;)
 
i seariously have to start from scratch again...... i keep over shooting the apexs and this is frustrating... i swear i willl never touch another racing games besides the gran turismo series on PS2
 
if i practice everyday for the nest 2 weeks i should be back in business

btw .... me being extremley tired could have something to do w/ it!!

is NFSU any good? if it's anything like Midnight Club 2 then i'll pass, yeeesh did that thing suck
 
NFS:U, is awesome. It's not a bad game. I find drifting in NFS:U alot easier, Gran Turismo 3 is abit harder to drift with in my opinion.

Drifting in GT3 takes skill and actual drifting knowledge. Whereas, drifting in NFSU is so easy it's rediculous. Not to mention, the FF cars handle like AWD cars in the drift mode. None of the cars handle like they should IMO. If you want to drift the GT series is where it's at. ;)
 
Much hate tward N4SU. I wish I could sell it to someone I work with, but I talked so much smack about it being totally unrealistic that no one wants to buy it =P

If you've ever seen that commercial where the new AOL CD comes and they're about to put it on the poster on the wall when that guy stops them. Well, NFSU is the perfect replacement for the AOL CD. And that's about all it's good for, aside from teaching people how NOT to drive.

even i think so. remember when i started a coalation to stop stupid NFSU drifting, but nooooooo, i was a stupid kid,,,,,, blah!!! you all got what was coming.!!
 
If I'd have seen it Motor I'd have been the first to back you up. The instant I got N4SU and put it in my PS2 deck I realized what a horrible waste of money I just commited. I highly doubt I'll play another piece of garbage from them.
 
I said it before.. and I will say it again!!! The only game that can beat GT3 is GT4 - DO NOT attempt other racing games... unless GT-approved!!:lol: :lol:

Ps: Battle Gear 3 looks like a good game though... but still not in the league of GRAN TURISMO!!!

how could u forget how to drive in GT3??? shame on you... hope you get ur skills back :)

since N4SU's driving physics is so arcade like.... when u play GT3, apply some real-life laws of physics...maybe that'll help.
 
i rented nfsu and i laughed so much at the intro, did anyone watch that? it was such a 2f2f copy lol, bridge jup one guy stopping b4 the bridge and the ggirl shifting. i thought the girl shifting was the scene from 2f2f lol
