I'll venture a guess, and say it's a single turbo, probably a T88, or a T04R, or a T51R... Our local Poopra head, Josh, probably knows more than me... :lol:

A BEAST!! Acceleration of the Supra is unspeakable.. damn!! Why do you say its a single turbo.. just wondering, because the lack of turbo lag? Is it true that Twin turbo or biturbo have a greater turbo lag then a single turbo?

It's a T88h with 272 cams, AEM ems, FJO, DLI, custom fuel with 1000cc injectors, TRD Diff, Super Dragger exhaust, Greddy 4Row FMIC, HKS Rac. BOV, etc.


I still have never seen this video of it. Or any video of it. I'm on cable, but everytime I try to download it it never seems to download. I just get that File Download box with the little piece of paper going from the Earth to the folder, but it never downloads - even after like 5 bajillion hours of waiting. If someone could host it long enough for me to download it from them I would appreciate it greatly.
 
Same. I still dont see how it could get up from somewhere around 180 up to 230mph in a matter of what..? 5 seconds if that? It just doesnt seem that logical..Whatever, its still awesome.

I just tried it again and it works fine.

It's way too big for my 56k so I can't grab it, but it does download fine.

I right-click and "save target as" and it works beauty.

Works 100% fine for me. If you'd like a recap of the video-
1) Incar view at night, focused on the speedo. The car moves from 180 to well over 200. It gives the reading on the screen, its xxxkm/h - 230mph
2) They basically just show the car acellerating away from the camera.
3) Same as #1 but the car starts in a lower gear.
4) A little bit of drifts, and then its over.
 
It is starting at 100 mph or 165 kmh and then it goes to 315 kmh which i dont think is 230 mph but somewhere around 200...I think

I'm getting roughly 11KB/s. If it actually finishes I'll post it somewhere. Won't be much faster, but at least you'll have something.

Twin Turbo has less turbo lag, cause one turbo is smaller. So it has less lag. Thus, a large single turbo has more power but also more lag

Could someone please host this somewhere for me just long enough for me to download it?! PLEASE?!?! It's killing me not being able to see it. For some reason I can't access FTP's anymore - that's why I can't dl it.:irked:

Most twin turbo cars have the same size turbos. They also most of the time have less lag, because you are spooling up two small or medium sized turbo's as opposed to a single large turbo.

The psi or bar of boost used, as well as the length of the intercooler piping, bearing design, and a.r rates of the turbo(s) will be the deciding factors in how much lag a setup will make.

NO! Well yes. But the damn thing didn't play. I think it was corrupt or something. Maybe it didn't finish. Windows Media Player had audio but no video, so I just trashed it.

It's a Supra. Why would anyone care? ;)

Ha ha. I've actually gotten tired of downloading car videos. It has to be something pretty spectacular at this point for me to be interested in it. I prefer car reviews rather than "d00d! this car is so l33t! look at it drift this corner!" Hell, I can't even do their slang correctly.
