Ok I played this demo last night and HOLY CRAP ITS AWESOME!!! The first time you play through on the easiest setting its just decent but it helps you unlock your first Tequila power move. What you really need to do is play through one the next 2 difficulties so you have all the Tequilla powers unlocked. Thats when this game truly stands out and gets crazy on the hard setting. I still want to beat it on the Hard Boiled (hardest) setting.

After you start unlocking the special moves this game becomes incredible. The best way to describe this game is a mix of Black (all the destructible environments), Max Payne (slow motion diving), and finished off with a little Dead To Rights (slow motion finishing moves).

I really love the slow motion of the bullet entering the body wherever you shoot while using the Precision aim tequilla move (up on the d pad). You can shoot their eyes, their butt, crotch, head, mouth, knees, anything and it goes into a slow motion cinema thats very rewarding.

The multiplayer looks like it could also be extremely fun and crazy.

If you havent tried it on the different difficulties then you havent truly played this demo. I will definetly be buying this game after playing that demo.

The game's pretty fun, though I spent half the time looking for tables to slide across. I'll give it another go today.

It was alright, not completely my type of game. Wasn't too impressed at all until the action started to get heavier. I can tell you can have a lot of fun with the different moves you can do. Not impressive enough to make me buy it though.

Your going to love it when you unlock the "Precision aiming". Its sick. You hit up on the D pad when your gauge has enough energy and this will allow you to shoot anywhere on the enemies body and it goes into a slow motion cinema that shows the bullet hitting that area and then the enemy reacting. Yes that means anywhere on the body! Crotch, eye, mouth, butt, legs,knees,hands...everything!! After you unlock all the special moves you can re-play through any difficulty with them.
Also make sure you watch the entire video at the end after the first time you finish the demo.
To play through the full version of the game on all the settings will take around 30-40 hours. Its going to be an awesome game. And it has multiplayer.

I don't have my 360 with me right now but I just want to comment on... Tequila power move? :odd:  Uh huh...

I'll comment on the rest when I play it.

Well... I think the game will be a good, solid rental. I'm not convinced to shell out $70 for the PS3 Collector's edition (w/ Hard Boiled in HD), and the multiplayer doesn't seem to be all that special, plus I have other games I want around the time it's releasing like Bioshock, Metroid Prime 3, Heavenly Sword, PGR4, etc etc...

Just my 2¢.

I beat the first 3 difficulties the night the demo came out and didnt get a chance yet to beat it on hard boiled. But the first chance I get I will definetly be playing this demo some more. I actually see myself playing it quite a bit.
Whats the highest stars you have got so far? I got 19 stars. It will say x19 or something like that.
This game is a combination of Max Payne, Black, Earth Defense Force 2017, and Dead to Rights all in one game. Definetly nothing else on the 360 with this much destruction besides EDF.

It's not bad, but it's not great either. Seems way too simple, and the collision is driving me crazy.

I probably won't spend a lot of money on it, unless the Hard Boiled transfer is pretty good. If it's bad quality (which I think it will be, since Midway is handling the transfer) I'll probably just pass on it, rent it for the movie, and leave it at that.

Tequila Power Move!

This has got to be the BEST Fuggin Demo EVAH!!! Game industry take note! THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A FRIGGIN DEMO!

God... Where do I start!? Bullet time? Weapons? Hell even the Friggin Multiplayer looked bloody awesome fun!?

There were a little frustrations like the camera YOU have to control, after Ninja Gaiden on the PS3 having the same camera controls I'm really not starting to like that. For some reason I couldn't pick up weapons or use it as ammo but I never ran out either?

Anyway, I'll be looking into this to buy although once again I'm debating whether or not to get the 360 or PS3 version... ?

I thought it was a fun demo but the camera really bugged me. It was sometimes hard to see which direction the shooting was coming from. I'll probably rent it to see how the final game plays.

gosh the reponses you guys have given have really wet my appetite for it! :crazy:cant wait for the ps3 demo (should be soon)..... when are the release dates for both consoles btw?

I'd say I don't like this game that much, but I'm finding myself replaying that demo over and over again. It's ridiculous, but man it's fun.

 yeah... The end of the demo where they show more of what the game can do was pretty damn impressive too.
