Omg why cant i paint the chevelle 454 ss 1970???

This is the only car in game I own irl (well... 1971 Chevelle 454 Impala, but close enough...). I bought this car ASAP and got it in Astro Blue Mettalic. I bought the Camaro 69 to get "Forest Green Mettalic" and went to paint my baby. But then I got this message- "You cannot change the paint on this Vehicle". WHAT? I spammed it, even tryed different paints, but no change. WHY? WHY CANT I PAINT MY FAVORITE CAR THE COLOR ITS SUPPOSED TO BE?

I've been wondering the same thing. I've only seen the car in Astro Blue Metallic at the dealerships but during races I've seen them in red.

Damn. Really PD? Come on.
Only way I can think of is to birthday spam 1970 until i get a forest green mettalic Chevelle. But that could take years...

I had a similar problem with the C1 Corvette. I had a Paint Chip for Pennant Blue (I don't like the C1 in Black particularly)... a C1 Corvette colour and could not paint it. Fortunately a Pennant Blue one arrived in the Online Dealer (and a lot cheaper than the UCD).
