On 2.13 but with original intro?

I recently had to downgrade and update back to 2.13 not once but twice. After the second time, as I loaded up the game, I noticed I still have the original game's intro, NOT the spec 2 version.

Additionally, and more of a problem, is that the camera is messed up. Every time I take a picture, the photo is more zoomed unit than the preview shows. For example, I tried to take a close up picture of the C7 Corvette. In the preview viewer, it showed half the car, like what I was looking for.but when I took the picture, it came out showing the entire car!

Anyone else having these problems, a suggestion, or possible solution?

The intro is easy to answer, it's downloaded in game and saved to Game Data, meaning it disappears with it.

The picture thing I'm not too sure on, but I've noticed the picture being the wrong size a few times myself. I get the feeling it's normal, but maybe somebody with more experience can help you with that one.

I remember that you had to download the Spec Ⅱ intro, from GTTV in order for it to be used in the start up. You should be able to re-download it from there, I think.

You may be right, I think I remember that too, hopefully not just my mind playing tricks on me. But the first time I went back to 2.13 it had the Spec 2 intro still.

The intro movie problem seems to be solved. But as far as the photo mode thing goes, I noticed that the angles and zoom levels would be different in the final processed, compiled image from the preview before the update, but it was subtle or barely noticeable.

I believe the game may automatically readjust some settings for the processing based on the angel, position, and zoom level of the camera (maybe more variables) and the amount of resources available for the processing. Or something like that. Version 2.13 nay have tweeked these algorithms a bit that may have a larger impact than intended.

View angles in photomode often change a bit when you try to freeze an incident on track on a photo with a very short shutter speed (1/500 sec and shorter) and if you're in panning mode 1. Not sure why but that's always been like that. Try panning mode 2 or 3 in the settings and a long shutter speed and it shouldn't happen much. I usually take my photos in panning mode 3 at 1/60sec shutter speed and the camera stays where I position it in preview mode.

If it happens in photo travel or on such panning shots I've described above it's indeed weird, could be a problem of 2.13. I haven't taken photos in 2.13 yet, when I do I'll see if I get a similar issue.

Ah, but I do take photos at panning mode 3 and 1/60 second shutter speed, I almost never use panning mode one, only when It's a shot from far away zoomed in a lot, so the motion blur isn't as extreme.

Tried and didn't have any problems, does the problem persist for you? I have no idea how to solve things then.

However if you're using a multiscreen setup or have your multiscreen settings modified (you have to do this manually but just to be sure, check it's not set to server or client, it should be 'OFF') your resulted photos might look more/less zoomed than the preview. I learned that yesterday when I tried if the multiscreen settings improve FOV a lot (since there's a new thread around telling how it changes your FOV on a single screen too).

Yep, that's what I did, I've got the angle to 68, so that explains it. I was just in photo travel and it didn't do it in there, so that must be it. Thanks for the help!

Still not changing it back, the ability to actually use the interior view is too good to pass up.
