I like how the model that is essentially Mercedes halo sports car gets a brief mention, but the rest of the article is dedicated to the wagon.

Thats pretty cool. Keep a keen eye out there, and you could get on there quite often.

Either way, the C63 Wagon is just plain awesome. Somewhat stealthy looks, presumably off-the-hook performance, and a so-so price should make it a sleeper hit for AMG.

-> Nice, more attention to the wagon! But it will be another superb car that won't be marketed here the US, those mules are here for climate testing only, after that back to Germania. :(

-> I mean, hi-po wagons are a big deal in Europe, with so many manufacturer would like to pounce on that market share to take on the excellent RS4 Avant. I'm begining to love Europe now. :dopey:

~> "So whats the big deal? We don't like hearse-mobiles, we'll stick to SUVs." People in the US says. :indiff:

STRONG disagree from me - it's the middle of the summer and don't be fooled by those photos - the weather was NOT harsh. We're 14,000 feet up - it's not storming, those are clouds you're seeing because we're in the middle of them. The vehicles were here for high altitude testing, plain and simple, as this is the world's highest paved road.

-> I agree with you on that one, but there will still be a very slim chance of marketing that wagon here. :indiff:

Agreed - Mercedes has skipped the US market with past hot wagons. Though both the E55 and E63 have been sold here, numbers have been limited to around 100 for each (I've seen exactly one) and neither AMG C-class wagon was sold here. Soooo.... I might have the only US spot of a C63 wagon!

-> I suppose so, damn you're one lucky jock. By the way, I've seen two E55 AMG and one E63 AMG Kombi here in Vegas. :)

My lone E55 wagon spot:

Least you can tell what it is! Note the ML55 also in that shot.

Well thank you, although as far as a career in photography is concerned I'd never even consider it - there's a difference between running around finding supercars and figuring out white balance and direct lighting and all that crap. Plus there's no money in it - one day I'd like to actually own all these cars I photograph! So this will probably continue as a hobby. :D

Keef
Ahh, I'll save it for MSN.
