This is one of those things I keep expecting to appear in each game update, but never does - time trial leaderboards. It makes me wonder why PD still hasn't included this feature (even when they said it would be "coming soon" a year ago.)

I figured maybe it was because they were simply too intimidated by the potential for glitches or hacks either from cutting track or by some hacker with a PC.

But Forza has had these in both F3 and F4, right? Does anyone here play Forza and use its TT leaderboards? How clean are they? Have the top times all been cheated or hacked, or are they legit?

Since every TT seasonal seems to get 10s of thousands of entries (if not more... I have no idea how long the list is) it seems like it would be a pretty big feature for us players. I know I'd use it for sure, even if not to compete for the top spot but just amongst my friends. Plus it's nice to be able to download a really fast ghost and see how they drive it, and to see where you place overall in the world.

Thoughts?

From what I observed in Forza is that the actual track isn't cheated but the cars are "cheated" I guess. The people just use the fastest car possible to set the fastest times. These cars are sometimes a lot faster than the other cars of the class but the people at T10 mostly got the cheater cars sorted out.

So it can be done! Thanks for the reply.

One way PD could implement it is to have a leaderboard for each track, for every car in Arcade mode. It would give everyone a level playing field, and there would be hundreds of combos to work on.

It would just be dominated by the X1, that`s why it`s not tghere.

I heard in forza you can even put a big V8 in a tiny VW Golf

I put a GTR engine & 4x4 system in my 180sx!

Confuses a lot of people online when I bring `the sleeper` out to play.

No you can't. You can put an engine that would reasonably fit from the same car manufacture such as an engine from a Golf R or the likes. EDIT: Maybe because I forgot of the Volkswagen Toureg, that has a V8.
