Once only prize cars?

Okay, bit of a noobie question, but I've searched and can't figure out what the deal is with prize cars. Okay, so I'm a bit thick. Sorry.

I've just golded all my licenses, finished the TT's and arcade mode, so there's nothing left to do now but race. I'm trying to plan my path through the game without putting any mileage on any of the prize cars (I guess I'll have to put some on an F1 car, but hey I can always win another can't I?) I also want to try and get as many cars as I can, but I've just read somewhere that for some of the races you can only win the prize car once.

Now my question is does this mean that if you're in a series where there's more than one prize car, say the Vitz race in pro league, and you win the vitz, you can't then win the other three (Supra x2, or Altezza) at all??? Surely this can't be the case can it?

What do people mean when then say you can only win one prize car?

only the individual races u could win a car once. the series (5,7, 10 race) series u could win any of the 4 cars unlimited number of times.
 
Do a serach for "Road hazzard's perfect game" He documented an amazingly quick way through the game, and it added the least amount of miles to the least amount of cars.

Think of it as retracing "Lewis and Clark's Expedition" Road hazzard is the only one who did it so far, see if you can be the next person to follow him.

Ahem? I think you'll find MY perfect game is perfecter still...

Not only did I do it in minimum game time, with all-gold licences as with Road Hazzard (229 days), but once I finished I reordered the garage (using mk's - I have no GameShark to cheat with) from slowest road car to fastest road car, then slowest race car to fastest race car. And it has the Nissan R34 Skyline Mspec Nur in it too ("hidden" car - only acheivable through non-honest methods. But my honesty and integrity has been proved many times before, just not at GTPlanet. Yet.). I would insert the Stratoses, 996 and Diablo, but I would have no use for them, as I'm PAL...

The save was also a conversion from US NTSC, so unlike most of my compatriots, I can race in mph like nature intended... :D

So Road Hazzard ISN'T the only one to do this.

And just checking, my file was completed on 13th September 2002, 2 months before Road Hazzard's.. So he's the SECOND person to do it.
 
I stand corrected. he was the first person here at GTPlanet to accomplish it. I think it was very possible that you inspired him to do it?

Oh no - I doubt he'd heard of me... Hell, even I hadn't heard of me then... :D Plus I think he started it before I finished it - and only one person knew I was doing it...

I don't believe that I am the first person to do it either - the game had been out in the UK for a full 12 months at that point - worldwide for 15 months.
