I just got finished watching the Bathurst 1000 of this year, and I gotta say;

It wasn't until I saw this legendary race that I finnally realized the glorious thing that IS Australian GT Racing, which got me thinking, I would be more than happy to pay to get a DLC Pack featuring Super V8 Content, including (each " - " can be individually purchased;

- Track: Mount Panorama Circuit

- Cars: 4 most relevant 2011 season Holden Commodores and 4 most relevant 2011 season Ford Falcons.

- Racing suits: Perhaps 2-4 suits of the 8 cars above, doesn't have to be all of them. (Preferably split evenly between Commodore and Falcon drivers).

Of course the question is, which cars and suits would be picked. Given how Super V8 demands that every car is to be virtually identical in performances, I would be perfectly content if V8 got the NASCAR treatment (all 8 of it's models have identical specs, is all fine by me). The question remains though....

Which cars and driver suits would YOU like to see? :sly: Which ones are deserving to be immortalized in the Gran Turismo series? XD

For me, one that will hands down enter is either Jamie Whincup's or Craig Lownde's cars and suits. I have yet to pick a driver and team to cheer for, but I think THOSE two are automatic entrees into a GT5 DLC.

I agree with you a 100%. Maybe this is the way to turn wish list into GT5 track-lists, by posting them here on the forums. I would keep it up'

If there isn't any hint of Peter Brock then it's pure blasphemy! lol

You've got to go with the more popular drivers, as well as those who turn up for Adelaide, Surfers and Bathhurst, I'd personally include:

Jamie Whincup
Craig Lowndes
Greg Murphy
Steven Richards
Russell Ingall
Shane Van Gisbergen
Garth Tander
Nick Percat
Mark Skaife
James Courtney
Nigel Winterbottom
the two Kelly brothers
Camron McConville
Jason Bright
Brad Jones
Will Davison
David Brabham

...have a minimum of 16-20 drivers/cars, it should really be based on the results from Bathurst and Surfers to keep a good balance between popularity and front runners.

The two kiwi's. Please all I want is V8 super cars and Bathurst and possibly Auckland City as a new track please. Be the first game to include a New Zealand track.

As a matter of fact, a 2nd track would be most welcoming as well.

Next to Bathurst, which is the 2nd most significant race in the Super V8?

Of course, there is the matter of fetching that license though. But hey, it sure don't cost to dream no? ^^*

Philip Island is also a biggy. But Bathurst and Philip Island are probably the biggest, most popular events on the calendar because of the fact they have alot of history and the tracks themselves have been around almost as long as cars themselves. Okay not quite.. but you get it.

Some people can't help being smart a** can they?

Anyway I completely agree, a V8 pack would be awesome especially with Bathurst. GT5 needs more forms of motorsport, I race in some online series and that would make an absolutely brilliant one.

Yeah.. you got that right. Some people can be half wits.

Oh yeah because its in Shift 2 isn't it? That sucks.. a good track in a rubbish game. Should be called Shift minus the 'F'.

Clipsal 500?, we could do with some "real"-real-life street circuits and Adelaide would be perfect.

It probably won't ever happen, but I would be extremely pleased to to see Oran Park, Eastern Creek, Hidden Valley and Sandown. Do Codies still hold the licences for the other Australian tracks? I'm not aware of any of them having been in a game since TRD3.

V8 Supercars with Bathhurst and Phillip Island would be the junk. And include the premium street cars...... Call it the upside down pack.

Surfer's Paradise is pretty interesting too since you have international drivers coming in...

If you want to race the V8 Supercars with modern liveries on a modern console, you can only do it in FM4 right now.

I doubt it is an exclusive license.

Please make it happen PD. I want Mount Panorama real bad.
