Looking for a little Input guys. I haven't had as much time with Gt6 as I did with 5 so farming credits just hasn't been in the cards. When I play, I play for a variety of fun. I pushed through most of IA and am coming up on Like The Wind and The GT wold Championship. I've used Maclaren F1GTR 95 for a lot and the HSV-010 ( amazing car ) but both max out around 650. I've tried pushing my Viper GTS'13 to 680 but it's not a 700+ car nor a race car. My Monster Sport and NSX-R Proto LM are fun favorites too but light. And I thought the Red Bull x2014jr at 728pp would be an option but it seems to get left behind quickly !

So with bout 2mil cr. I can afford 1 super fast race car. But I can't afford to get something I hate. ( like a Veryon). Any input would be welcome. In GT5 the 787B was fabulous but sometimes variety is nice so anything along the Speed 8, Minolta, 905 Evo, Sauber c9, R8, 908 HDi line up be good choices I guess ? Is the GT-R R35 really an option for end game..? I figure I'll need " new car" for doing S class.

As always. Thanks for any Input. It's cars like the HSV I bought after reading the raves and hands down, I should take advice when given :-). Amazing car.

Well, if you can grind a few more million, you can get a Chaparral 2J or a Toyota 7. Neither of them have headlights, so I wouldn't recommend you using them in races that take place at night. The Auto Union Type C is also very fun to break land speed records around Route X, but it handles so badly that well, it doesn't have handling. I took it to Monaco once, and I couldn't do a single corner! But if you truly want an awesome race car, do the Senna events and win the Lotus 97T. That thing is unbelievable with the right setup!

You don't need a 700PP+ car to win like the wind or the GT world championship. For LTW ust use a Nissan GT-R 07, V Spec, Black edition, or Nismo and upgrade everything to the max and just auto set top speed to 286MPH for SSRX and SSR7. The GT world championship should be in possible to do with a Mclaren GTR or the Honda.HSV. If you want a LMP I recommend the 908 HDi, it can easily win all LTW races and the GT world championshp.

I may have psyched myself out a bit on this one. The Merc Vision VGT handled SS7 and my viper destroyed SSX ( even though that FFX must have caught a good bit of 260+mph to catch up to my bumper in the last stretch. I'm goin to take either back to the Indy track with probably no issue.
Still not sure what to use on the championship. HSV on twisty tracks and the Viper w/ NO2 for any big ones maybe.

I miss my Chaparel 2J. I had one in 5, gifted via my own Birthday Ticket 1970. The car is a phenomenal, monstrous, beautiful / ugly freak of nature :-)

Peugeot 905 Evo1 Bis LM '92 is awesome. You can use it to clean house in anything you can enter it in. Same with Chaparral 2J of course, but the Peugeot is cheaper, and fast. Get an oil change, add aero, and kill em all.

YES, get it asap, it is awesome and cheap too. It will blast through all of the S class races it is eligible to enter. IT IS LOTS OF FUN!

If you want a proper race car then the 'Peugeot 905B' or 'Pescarolo C60 Hybride' are top choices for outright speed and handling balance.

And for races that require a "Normal Car" .... as mentioned by @suv139 , any of those GT-R's are pretty much a sure thing.

If you want a le mans car you can't go wrong with the Peugeot 905 evo fast and stable..
And if your heading for the s class races you could do a lot worse than get yourself an LCC rocket there are tunes for it at 500pp through to 600pp on the tuning forum..

For the Like the Wind races, the new NISMO R-35 with all upgrades and an oil change will do 314 mph with nitrous and a draft, 283 all by itself. Plenty enough for SSR7 and SSRX. With no aero, its stable enought to win without much effort. You'll need something with downforce for the Indianapolis. I used a Chaparral 2J.

You've probably already spent your credits, but the 2J is imo the best handling and an incredibly fast car, should do you well. For s class races i found using the junior redbull car extremely helpful

I think the Audi R8 race car '01 is great for all races (use power limiter when needed to). It handles like a dream and can't stop driving it. BMW V12 LMR is a close second.
Cheap optiom is the Rocket, but so 🤬 good for value .

Pug 905 Bis Evo LM. Plus tuned on RH is: "Me!, by myself!, one gun, one bullet,..all day, every day, wake up, go back to sleep, take a nap....you ready d'go night night now!". Monstrous car.

Tip: Also good car for 0.0001s trophy (skin of your teeth?). Venture into Arcade Mode, Twin Ring Motegi Oval, Single Race, 3 laps. Inside line, look right. Boschola!

Pescarolo C60 Hybride 2005:720pp/1169hp/LMP/Le Mans. Heck with the Peugeots, Audis, BMW, Bentley, and other LMPs. Do yourself a favor and win with a Pescarolo not German engineering crap. Just kidding Audis are ok>

Same with the Pescarolo plus I still am waiting for a challenge.

Audi r8 and BMW V12 LMR are not as good as The Pescarolo '05.

I will agree that the Pescarolo has more power than my Audi R8 or BMW V12 but I look for the best all rounder in this case. The Pescarolo has more power and a slightly better acceleration but the Audi R8 is better through the corners in my opinion and also has less tire wear and uses less fuel as there is less power in the R8s engine.
