One Hand Or 2? *for Wheel Users*

Just wondering How many people Use one hand in gt3 to drive, and how many people use 2? I use one, Even When i *try* to drift with the mustang.

U don't need to *try* to drift with a mustang just grab my settings in the Drift Settings Depot they were really good (for me at least).

i keep it safe with 2, the only time i one hand it is on straights (wich doesn't really count)

My mustang is Tuned all the way, it has 716 hp, i use Medium tires in the back and super soft tires in the front, it starts a drift okay, but then it regains Grip half way through a long turn, like the first turn in ssr 5

I drive with two hands. Main reason is so I can shift up, shifting up is a good thing. I heard a rumor that the GT4 wheel will have a side-mounted sequential shifter though, so you'll be able to do one-handed then if you want. Although it's going to have 2.5 full turns of rotation so you might want both hands when they're both available =)

yeah..its gonna have 900 degrees of rotation ..ill definatly use both hands lol...maybe i will use my knee like i see people doing in the streets...have u ever seen someone Driving with their knee? lol...

with an auto... you need only to adjust your gears to close ratio... and make sure it wont upshift in mid corner... so press r2 i think... or make l2 i dunno i forget... on sims the stang should be good for anywhere between 300-400 hp...

if you are gonna still use more hp cuase you like going fast in your drifts... use super slicks or slicks... it is basically the same thing as sims... basically... but if you can do sims you can drift with anytires anytime... any hp...

the mustang Cobra has 355hp when you get it...so basically just put sim tires on it, it shouldn't require any other modifications to drift. most cars are capable of this..but some require a little extra power and a few suspension tweaks. hopefully in GT4 the cars will be able to drift in completely stock trim (just like real life)

i hope to god GT4 comes out in 2003 lol...if they gonna release it in 2004 i hope it as more cars then planned..as they found away to make cars faster then in gt3...which took them 2 weeks to make ONE car in gt3..thats why they removed "racing modification" option as it would take an extra 2 weeks for every car that had racing modification because they would have to remake the model...but somewhere on ign.com it said the gt team developed an easier way to make cars..thats why its going to feature over 500 cars

i read in an interview with the developers that it takes 1 man month to put a car into a game, which is MORE than gt3.

I drive with one hand, my left hand. I shift with my right hand only.

If you want to do one handed like me, you need to mount your dualshock controller somewhere in proximity next to your right hand, (assuming you drive one hand with your left) so that you have access with shift with your right hand. Set the buttons on the dualshock controller as it fits your right hand so you can shift with your right hand and drive the steerign wheel with your left hand.
