One little feature they should add.

The ability to stop the spinning car while your looking at it in the dealership, It would be cool if I didnt have to wait for it to cycle through different angles so I can see a certain color in the front. They should keep it spinning like it does, but the option to pause it and still cycle through the colors.
 
I think it's a good idea indeed i wish they would add the option i wanna look at all the possible views in detail with the camera :P I dont think they'd keep the spinning thing for the final game i sure as hell hope not lol
 
it would b good as well to have an internal view of the car or maybe and exploded view with hood, doors and trunk open.
 
I def. agree. It's really hard to decide on a color when the car keeps spinning unless you want to wait 5 minutes before deciding.

Excellent idea. I've seen this done on a game many years ago called Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed. In the garage view you could open the hood, open the doors, the trunk and you could look inside the vehicles interior. Very cool touch if in fact they ever produce it for GT5:P
 
Well in the Polyphony Digital's Two-wheel equivalent of Gran Turismo- Tourist Tourist you get the option to rotate the bike by yourself, zoom in etc. I would like this idea incorporated into GT5, as it would allow you greater flexibility to view the Car of your choice in whatever angle or position you feel like.👍
However in saying this, I would like the Car's to rotate as normal until you specify you want to take control of the camera angle, this could be done by pressing a button like L3 or R3. This is just my opinion.

This may be one of the first things that aggravated me about this game, and I wouldn't think it would be that difficult to add these features in. I want to see the whole car for more than five seconds when choosing a color!
 
Yeah good point, I'd also love to see this. Maybe they can change it so you can jump through the different camera views by hand and stay there as long as you like.
 
Sure it's hard to chose colour, but I like the way it is. It's something new, instead of the same old story where the car is just spinning around in the middle of the screen as it is in every other game..

Has someone note that you never can see the Shifter, every time youre think you gonna see it the sit doesn't let you

That, and as well ability to Spin, look around the car for you're self. Both inside and outside view. Zoom in and out.. etc. 👍


I mention it before, but seems this is good spot too.

Ability to use EYE camera in cockpit view to look around. There is a software for this. I would love to stick a camera on My G25, move head up, down, left right, to see what is happening in cockpit view around me.

I've seen it on a few times, but forgot what cars let you. What I noticed though, is that the shifter doesn't actually move when the guy puts his hand on it, so that's probably why you don't see it. It's just a little stick that's sticking up and he just "acts" like he pushes it.
 
Even if he acts. I would still love to move camera LEFT right as well UP AND DOWN! Whats the point of beautiful cockpit if you cant look up or down a bit?
 
I wouldn't want to see any of these features mentioned in this thread. All we keep seeing on updates is superficial content which does not add to the gameplay. The features we need are private rooms/more tracks as these will add to the gameplay whereas the features suggested in this thread would be a waste of time.

We need to have the basics right first because frankly im getting sick and tired of having to switch my 360 on to talk to friends when playing GT5P. You can tell boredom is setting in with Prologue unless new content is provided and you can tell this simply by reading the posts on this forum!!

That and as well Directional buttons to Move the car, so camera it's not always at center of car. That way we can have nicer look at wheels, hood, bumpers, lights, etc....

If you ganna put 6 months into a car, make sure you have 1 hour job camera that players can move on their own.
 
yes, this is defiantly needed in the game. really annoys me when I'm trying to pick a color for a new car & i have keep waiting for the game to cycle through the various views before i can see an overall look of the car.

Why not just have a camera mode in the dealerships?

Agree 100 % . I like to look at the cars from all angles when deciding to pick a color, but I would rather be able to use the analog stick and adjust angles and zoom in and zoom out features and turn the car by myself instead of having to wait on the default mode to do it , it's just to slow.

Yeah he only moves his fingers
I just noticed that you can see a face when you zoom to the front of the car on replays on the helmet
