WTF! That is too generous man! Well I can believe that story as she's the richest, most powerful woman in the world. 👍 to Oprah. See everyone, not all people are bad. It really brings a tear to one's eye. AHEM!! pull yourself together man!

Couldn't really make out the headline to the mag. What does it say or is it too rude to type?
 
When she decides to give away Ferrari's i'll be in that audience before the doors are even open. :D

I don't get it, the G6 just came out and they're already giving them away? Man, it must really sell slow.

If I was in the audience I would be like "Yeah!!!! Time to go to a Pontiac dealership and sell it to them!!" Then, since I work at a dealership network that has Pontiac, I'd make the car look like a dealer trade so that I could get the full price for it. Then I'd go back over to Mazda and buy a RX-8.

I wasn't denying that Pontiac was being generous, only that I think Oprah's name and reputation had a lot to do with it. They wouldn't donate all those cars to the Maury Povich show or Montel Williams. Oprah's the best.

This is GM's big promotional tool for the year, why not release 50-60 cars free to the most popular day time personality ever ? More people watch her show than a stupid commercial, and giving away 50-60 cars probably costs less than creating a commercial, buying air time ( national ait time like Oprah ) in my opinion, it was a brilliant marketing move !
 
Actually, I think it was closer to 200 cars. Quite generous, and a very good marketing tool.
 
yeah, my grandma was telling me about that. i want to go to the oprah show now...i'll live in a box next to the studio and just grab free tickets all the time.

I just heard about this on the radio. 216 pontiac G6's The funny part is how she says. "You all get a car". That cracks me up.
