Hello GTPlanet,

This is a club designed for those who love the competitive and fun one make races. This club is open to those of all skill levels and is great for people like me who have just begun racing online! Each car will be chosen by a randomiser but I will make sure each choice is different from the last.

To join enter the club ID into the GT Community
then write your GTPlanet name and PSN in a comment below!

The rules are simple:
  • Clean Racing only!
  • Car tuning will most likely be prohibited but there will be exceptions (IE: Corvette Z06 '04 550pp)
  • Certain Special Events might take place such as 500PP battles, Although it defeats the purpose of the club it is all for the enjoyment.
  • Oil Change will be required

For Each Car
  • Each car will be chosen from a randomiser
  • Tuning will likely be prohibited unless it is a race car
  • Road cars will be run on SH, Race cars on RH

Room Settings:
Boost - Off
Penalties - Off BUT each player must stay within track boundaries
Grip Levels - Will be set to Real
Slipstream - Weak
Damage and Tire Wear - To be decided
Visible Damage - Off
Nitrous - Off
Vehicle Tuning - To be decided
SRF - Prohibited
ASM - Prohibited
Driving Line - Optional
TC - Optional
ABS - Optional
Grid Starts

Race dates will be decided but they will most likely be every few days and only a few people will be able to open lobbies.

Final Notes: This is just a club to have fun and enjoy GT6 with fellow members of :gtpflag:. This OP will be updated if it gains popularity if not then it will just remain how it is.

This seems like this could be my type of club. Consider me in until I see further development here. I'll be sure to add myself to the GT club.

From the looks of things right now, the base regulations above look promising. However, a few things should be made more clear: :confused::odd:
  • For when tuning is available, how much tuning are we talking?
  • Is that an event for the Impreza 22B? (and is it stock or tuned? )
  • How are penalties otherwise determined when it comes time for them to be administered? (race marshal or admins?)
  • Possible run times? (I'm in UTC -5:00 time btw)
  • Will tire wear and fuel consumption be utilized? (I'd personally opt for it...more skill and fun added to the races this way :cool:)

  • Will this club be just events or will there be more to establish rankings?
  • Will there be qualifiers prior to each event race?
  • What will be the norm of cars that'd be run? (I'd hate to, for example, have to buy a BMW for one event for 92,400cr, then have to buy a Ford GT40 for 2,800,000cr for the next)

You bring up some great points. I didn't specify these in my original posts because I wanted to see if the idea was good or not but now that you bring them up I will sort them out.

  • When tuning is available, I will either say a certain PP or the required parts.
  • The event for the Subaru 22B was originally a place holder but I can turn it into an event, it is stock as said in the picture.
  • Penalties I will note below all this.
  • Times will be worked out when there is more people so I can find a more suitable time for all
  • As for tire wear and fuel consumption I'm not really sure.... I guess we could use them on maybe normal or fast?
  • This club will primarily be for events only
  • Yes there will be qualifiers.
  • I think I'll change it so each car has multiple events so they get a proper use. Even though this is a one make club I would like to include special events.
As for penalties, I'm hoping I won't need to hand any out as this isn't a just a club to have some fun races but if there are any reports of rules being broken I will save the replay and watch the race before posting results. If you would like to know my ideas for special events ask :), If I have missed anything tell me too thanks!

Perhaps you can use a randomizer to pick several cars, then have current members vote between them (preferably without the vote count being seen)?

That sounds like a good idea, I'll do that if this gets any more interest.
