It's actually made by GWA (Gullwing America), for a European customer. It's a SLS Roadster underneath with a bespoke vintage body on top.

I don't know how to post pics of the car, so i'll just link to the site where i saw it:
http://www.paultan.org/2013/02/15/gwa-300-slc-one-off-sls-roadster-in-vintage-clothing/

It really does look like a Morgan Aero 8 to me, but i really like the Aero 8, so naturally i like this 300 too.

PS. I so wish Mercedes would go back to using that style of grill, for some of it's future designs.

Doesn't look all that bad, for some reason it reminds me of a Morgan.

I am utterly besotted.

It's like a Merc Pullman had a filthy weekend with a Morgan Aero 8.

I don't like the overall shape but I do like some of the details, I'd think it could've worked for me if those fenders were more in the style of the 300SC this car is clearly aiming to mimic or pay hommage to (basing it however on an SLS is an odd choice by the way, a CL would've been more obvious and appropriate in size and type of car), you know, separate and not flowing into each other which would've looked less like the Morgan Aero-esque appearance it has now as a result.

I concur. I'd prefer if it had a less muscular stance with more recessed fenders, it would look more delicate and classic. It still looks very well executed and a desirable buy for the lucky ones who fancy the styling and can afford to buy one.

The grill is phenomenal, epic metalwork.

^ Yea they've really done the "modern retro" thing well, I mean Morgans don't look all that different to the vintage cars they're referencing at all. That Merc is just brilliant in design and gorgeous! Merc are really adept at this kind of thing; look at the SLR Stirling Moss.

The front lights . They should lower it a bit.

I'm at a loss of words. Wow.

It's OK. Not everyone has taste.
True! You are ALL WRONG  It's a bastard barchetta modernising the ideas that makes barchettas so sexy to me. First time I see it in real life... *looks down* 'Whoa! Down boy!!' ;D

I like the idea but I agree with analog, I think it's been executed badly. It's very garish and has none of the style of the old Mercs.
