The recent news on the GT5 XL or what ever it is hints at 4 new tracks and 25 DLC cars to come to GT5. So seeing how we have gotten 20 DLC cars already including kart and one track Spa. Does this mean there is only 5 more DLC cars for GT5 then talks of GT6 begin? And des any one thing the Top Gear Track needs weather? ITS ALWAYS RAINING IN DUNSFOLD!!!

Chill out!!! I believe the Forum is call ? and answers, so I asked a question I know your not PD or have anything to do with or know anything about butI asked anyways. No need to lash out. This is a game I really care about and is the only game Ive played or play (and Madden) so I just have these ? pop in my head

There are some PD employees that are members of GTP though.
 
I'm sorry for lashing out, but if you know that no one here can actually answer any of your questions, then why bother asking?

And btw. Another way to interprit the features list of the XL edition, is that all the current DLC cars(including chromeline?) are included on the disc. And then on top of that you get a voucher for an upcomming 25 cars + tracks. This is all just guissing as no one here knows.

@OP- we assume there will be new tracks and cars, as it says on the news page. I don't think we really need a thread about it...

Even if that's true, they aren't allowed to answer questions about upcomming DLC's before an official press release has taken place.

I don't know but Jordan and Famine said earlier in the year that they had contacts with PD ad Jordan has even met Kaz himself

PD will monitor this site after all it is possibly the biggest gran turismo fan collective in the world.
BUT do you really think a pd employee will come out just to be abused by haters and brown tongued by fanboys
I really hope there is going to be more than 25 cars and 4 tracks as part of gt5's dlc. even if it means pd have to employ people just to do the dlc side of things whilst the core start on 6 (although I personally think we will get something else from pd before gt6). all we can do is sit and wait and if we dont like a particular dlc make it known by not buying it or vice versa.

I'll bet all Chromeline cars and some new tracks will be coming with the new disc..Plus it's stated in that release, that a new DLC is upcoming soon..And that buying the XL disc you get a voucher for 20 DLC bucks..

I think you can find your answer if you just read carefully..

Why would all chromeline cars be coming in this new disc? Why do those people insist that the chromeline cars will be available to everyone for next to nothing?

Well for one..Because the special edition pre order disc with the chromelines was not easy to get 16 months ago here in the USA..I tried like crazy to get one..I was told they were all bought out by overseas customers..

Despite what you might think, the people in the US who got that disc were very lucky.. There were very few sent here.. Not enough too meet the demand..

For two, why not it's been over a year.. Does it make people feel good to say I have it and you don't, Or well you should have bought one then.. Honestly that's Greedy and silly..

And three, How the Hell is Buying two Discs plus the DLC's getting something for nothing...Remember You have to buy XL the disc (with real money)..

You'd only be buying one disc and what I was aiming at in that prior statement of yours was the hint that the chromeline cars would be available as future DLC.
 
The chromeline cars were always included on the game disc. That doesn't mean the rerelease will allow you to use them.

Well I think I addressed why I think the Chromelines are coming in a DLC..

Mainly because They were too hard to get here in the USA, and that only a few lucky people could place an order in for one...

As I have a GT5 disc, if the chromelines are on the new XL disc (not DLC).. I would need to purchase another disc (making 2)..

I guess I was confusing myself a bit with DLC vs Disc..Either way it would still be purchased not giving for nothing..

They weren't that difficult to get in all regions to be brutally honest. I remember seeing a few still at the location where I got mine a few weeks later.
 
Rumour has it that Sony will be showing - or at least previewing - the PS4 at E3 this year, so it's a safe bet that work is being done on GT6, but I don't see any reason why PD can't support GT5 for a good while yet. After all, it's going to take some time for sales of the PS4 to really ramp up, and that's only after the production version hits the shelves, which could well be a year or more away. It would make sense to keep developing content for GT5, at least for a while yet.

There a still places on eBay I think that sell chromeline and stealth cars, although they may have expired by now. I got a great deal, 50 dollars for all 11 DLC cars (chromeline/stealth) and a compatible disc. I still have to build up that disc though. Currently level 17 on 1.00. Going to update after I win the X1 challenge. I have all DLC cars except the Jaguar! Which sucks since it's technically the last Jaguar I need to complete my collection! The pain of being in America!

Personally I think chromeline will not be available in the XL edition, hopefully never. They were exclusive to people who were lucky enough to get them. Keep it like that.

Honestly, I think this "XL" edition is just to try and start selling more GT games. It's really just a marketing campaign to me. It's not going to be anything special other than you save a few bucks. Also, GT5 is around 40.00 dollars now new in stores. This XL edition will probably sell at the full 60.00 dollar price tag again. In the end you only save yourself maybe 5 dollars? That is if you buy the normal and buy the DLC from the PS store.

It does rain a lot in Dunsfold, BTW. Like most places on our little island, that's why we have so many ducks.

Yeah I think so too. Adding new contents like a set of chromelines into a new console(PS4, and the newly upcoming one being GT6)will disregard the hope of those who can't economically afford to buy either of them, and those who wish to hail the features in-game as early as possible.
