I just really gotta give Kaz his props. I had never heard of JGTC or had any interest in Japanese racing before playing this game (GT5 is my first GT game). It really looks awesome though and the cars are monsters. I definitely will be looking to see if it's ever on TV now. NASCAR is looking pretty plain by comparison...
I love the JGTC cars too! They are fun to drive and absolute monsters. Have never seen a real race though. Will be crawling internet for footage this weekend!
I'm personally glad a lot of attention was put into making the Super GT cars so plentiful and having the 1000k Suzuka made with weather/time. For me as a fan of real Super GT this brings a great deal of realism compared to just racing on a dry track at midday.
I have to say that it's an event I'm never doing again by myself because it's exhausting but with friends to take over for stints and an equally competitive car it'll be a fun challenge for sure.
