Well, it was one year ago that I posted this "The Final Race Write-up"

Not a major redefining moment or anything significant, but it's certainly changed the way I played the game. It's taken on aspects that I hadn't thought of and begun a trend here at GTplanet. Spawned a forum of it's own and opened the door to interpretation of racing skills that other players may not have thought of.

What most of you don't know is that it's helped me expand my ability to write and has influenced other parts of my life. Due to this first write-up, I've been writing on my free time, and it's been rewarding. At it's current stage a recent story of mine is being developed into the possibility of a real world book.

Who knew that because I couldn't find the info anywhere on the web it would function as a catalyst to events completely unrelated. Well, enough babbling. I just wanted to say thanks to you guys and gals here that noticed it and have helped expand upon it.

Thanks,

AO

Wow, I had no idea you posted your first writeup on the day I registered. Talk about coincidences... or not.
;)
Congratulations, AO! That's a worthy start to an epic production. Thanks for making that effort on our behalf, and good luck with your project!

Yes, and they say that you don't learn anything from computer games!

I was referring to the compendium yesterday in fact. There will be a link to it from giles-guthrie.com when I get The Lounge up.

Those are his initals.;) It stands for A*** O**** *i know this because we were talking over e-mail about AI cheating and other GT3 topics;) *

Edit: I removed the actual name you posted, RVD. It's not cool to reveal somebody's real name over the internet without their permission.

Many congratulations, AO! :)

People so underestimate the power of video games and the Internet... in both of our cases (and I'm sure many other peoples'), it has made us better people, undoubtly. Hoorah for technology! :D

Congratulations, Der Alta! It's safe to say this planet wouldn't be the same without you. :)

I love reading those write ups. The amount of effort gone into them is amazing!

You may want to take a break from it!

hey, Alpha, just so you know, you and Cobraboy don't have "invisible" status. What you have is a long string of "misunderstood character" boxes that pushes the dividing line way over to the right, and squeezes your poats.
