Online Co-op A-spec for endurance races?

Here's The Idea: say you're attempting to do any endurance race (provided you have unlocked it already), but you dont have the patience or the real-world time to complete a 9-hour sprint or a 24-hour race. My Idea was to have multiple drivers for one car, much like how most real endurance teams are set up. For example, say you want to complete 24 hours of Le Mans, and you have others that will cooperate for the same cause. You can divide the entire race into sections dedicated to a driver. This would work quite well if you have 6 friends in the case of a 24 hour race, as you could split it up into 2 hours per driver. You can then still get credit for completing a 24 hour race.
