Online compatibility between UK and Canada...?

Hello

I have a question re GT6, hoping anyone could clarify this for me...

I live in the UK. My friend, who owns gt6, in Canada. Before I buy this game, could anyone tell me if there is any problem connecting online from the UK to a player in Canada for GT6?

I know it sounds like a silly question, however I have had issues before connecting from the UK to Canadian ps3 players (pro evo soccer 15 being one such game)

Mine is fine and so is my Canadian friend's.

What I want to know is does the game itself, or the online servers, allow UK players to play online against Canadian players...?
 
Yes you can, I do this often. You probably want to make sure either you or your friend open an online lobby though, and not just join a lobby which might be almost anywhere in the world. I can't say if it's true, but I've been told that the servers gt6 uses for UK players is on east coast USA anyway.

If not create a club invite your mate and drive online that way, is another option instead off finding a lobby.
