Online component of my game completely buggered.

This is a strange thing that's just happened to me. I can't play the game whenever I'm on PSN.

If I try to go on the game while logged in, the game stalls at the menu (no pointer appears) however, as soon as I log out, the game works like a dream, no crashing, no stalling, nothing. Everytime I boot up the game un-logged in and then log in while in the GT-Life menu the game will return to stalling constant. Any body heard anything like this?

It's really gutting because now I can't access the seasonal events or Online Collector's dealership...

i have similar issues.. but not to the same extent!
 
Exactly the same problems here since the last update. I've tried the usual routes of deleting cache etc, but it seems to be an intermittent problem.
 
I had some weird loading up problems today, it was all alright before yesterday, now suddenly game does freeze, especially when trying to quit online lobby
 
Same here plus I can't seem to join servers anymore.

When loading the server list in public lobby, the list appears but no pointer.. one click to the left (to the filter menu) and then the pointer is there.. but then I can't join a server, it loads for 5 seconds then tells me something like a time out error. This all started since the last update, I had no problems before..never.
 
You should get net.
I think that's the case.

I've had those issues, but not to that extent! Have you tryed flushing the cache? Deleting the install? All the usual stuff?
 
I have the same issues. My PS3 is in the DMZ of my router and I use custom (fixed) settings for IP and DNS (I use Google DNS). Both game and PS3 report NAT2. I have no issues in any other game or the XMB/Home/Store/etc., just GT5. If I sign out of PSN, the game is fast as lightning. Got me completely baffled, because when the PS3 is in the DMZ of your router it has unlimited access to any port. All other games/apps work, so I'll just wait for a new patch I guess.

Still not working after altering said settings.

EDIT: Seems to be working fine after adjusting the settings AUTOMATICALLY.
