Online Connection with Router

When Connecting a PS2 and a Computer to a router to be online at the same time, how many CAT5 ethernet cable do you need?

Thanks in advance

Tired of unplugging my dsl from Computer everytime I wanna play online with the ps2

Im not really sure of what you mean but, the first day i got the Online Adapter, we only had one cable to connect from Computer to Router. So i had to keep switching back everytime i wanted to use the other. So you need to cables to connect to the router. Eg. 1 for PS2 and the other for computer... AND its better if you have a faster net speed eg around 512kb/s, i often get told i lag too much on tdu, it is MOST likely that i have 256kb/s and i use net at same time...

You will need at least 3 cables
1. to the router
2. to the computer
3. to your PS2

If your PS2 is not near you router you can buy
CAT5 cable and install the ends to them so you can have longer lenghts.

You'll need one from your DSL modem to your router, and then from your router to your PS2, if you want to be able to log onto the internet on our computer whilst playing PS2, you'll need a cable from the router to your computer also, after you have everything hooked up how it's going to be, run the online configuration disc again, and get it all set up.

Chris.
