contact @ 130R that have the direction on the left, red car don't overtake completely the yellow car so with the contact yellow car go on the grass

you can see video @ 1080p

00:20 the cars arrives on brake (see the stops on yellow's car) EVIDENT CONTACT ---> yellow car had a straight line and with the concat it take the grass

00:55 see the rear tyres with the anterior tyres completely out of axes

01:16 RED CAR is completely on the yellow's car's line

NOW, who have reason?

I would say, the red car is at fault. He chose the inside line to overtake the yellow car, which was clean. He then moved to the outside too soon and initiated contact. He should've stayed on the inside line.

so in this case the red car have to use parallel lines?

hard to judge and im no expert in any way, but i would also say, that the Red car was a tad to greedy.

In the first video the red car is definitely at fault. Vettel and Webber anyone?
He tried to move back to the outside before he was clear of the yellow car thus pushing it off the track.

The second one could be put down as a racing incident but the red car could be seen to be at fault. There was no overlap of the leading car in the braking zone, and it looked to be a bit of a lunge up the inside. The yellow car had to try and turn the corner so the gap the red car tried to dart into was always going to disappear.

tnx for all, but a question: in the firs video why the red car is DEFINITELY at fault?

Because it should have waited until it had cleared the yellow car before attempting to move over. The rear of the car was still alongside the yellow car so when it moved it was obviously going to push the yellow car off.

Rather than us trying to explain to you whether or not these moves are clean you could just read(and understand) the OLR.

Its currently being updated for GT5 but it will only be technicalities that will change. All the stuff about racing etiquette; when to pass, when to block, who has right of way etc. will most likely remain unchanged. If you understand and adhere to these guidelines you will have an enjoyable time racing, and there will be many here who are willing to race you. The rules are strict but thats because racing in a game can be difficult and they reduce the chance of anyones race getting ruined.

Heres how it should be done:

There are some mistakes made by some in this video but mistakes are understandable. Everyone paticipating in it knows the OLR and always attempt to follow it.

I think in both, the yellow driver is doing his best to be fair and avoid spinning the red car. The red car is the one driving a bit over aggressively and changing lines before he is clear.

tnx your comment was so preciuos!

Also a part of the Online Racing Rules and Guidelines, section 17, is about how to handle complaints.

17: Complaints:

All complaints relating to a racing incident must follow this procedure:

Contact the driver concerned privately (GTP_PM or PSN_PM)
Discuss in a manner that is normally acceptable here at GTP (AUP)
If a complaint cannot be resolved privately then as a last resort contact a GTP_Race Admin
Name PM subject title 'Racing Complaint'
Supply Members PSN_Tag
Supply Date & time of incident
Supply Event type
Supply Car driven by driver
Supply Details and any other relevant information relating to the incident

In case the procedure regarding race incidents is not followed and the driver decides to discuss the racing incident in public here on the GTP forum, the driver may be given a warning or an infraction (in case of repetition or blunt accusations) by one of the OLR racing admins.

All complaints relating to official GTP events should follow the same procedure as above, but the complaint must be sent to the designated Race Steward for any given GTP event.

tnx so much to all, this is a serious community!

The Red car was at fault in both videos. That is why cars have brakes.Just because you go into a turn faster does not give you the right to cut down or cut up.Don't race with the guy he has no racing knowledge.👎

I didn't realize until now that the second video was a separate incident. My comments before were purely for the first. The second is a little harder to judge. The red car is being very aggressive, but should the yellow car give up the line sooner?

In the second video the first corner is a bit of a border case. If i was driving the red car i would have propably backed down, but it's easy to say when not behind the wheel myself.

The second corner is wrong by red. He should leave room inside as he hasn't cleared the yellow car yet. He would still propably come ahead as the yellow car can't accelerate out freely (he would collide with the red).
