Okay I didn't want to post this in the 1/4 mile thread but for example, my gt no stripe, it runs 9.048 on stage x rpm launching but only 9.080/ 70s full throttle no black screen. Okay when i was online running some people I know, no stripe runs well faster than mine, on this site.. But we line up, get an even launch and ive walked everyones? Even a few acrs and a few black editions? Do I just have some lucky tune or what?

It's not your tune. It's your tree.

its your tree and also indy tunes work better on indy over ssrx tunes on indy, yet indy tunes are slower on ssrx.

My times are all close to the top leaderboards but man this no stripe is a beast!! Just seems as tho if I tree a car faster than me it should pull around me. I started out tuning before stage x so i guess my tunes are a hybrid indy/x tune haha.

Most people you find in drag/chill/trade rooms are poor at tuning, and reacting.

If you know what youre doing you usually can dominate a lobby with a 9.1 second car and proper tree

If you want a challenge look for a room that says PRO in the title

think about this...

a car makes max power at 6800 with a redline of 7300...

a car tuned on ssrx may cross the 1/4 mile at 6800 rpms... making the most of its power, where as it may cross the line at indy at 6400 rpms, where as....

a car tuned on indy may cross the 1/4 mile at 7100 rpms going past the power band, where as it will cross the line at indy at 6800 rpms making the most of all its power. see? :)

I think it put a few lengths on some pros... I'll be on here in a few if anyone wants to run? See how it stacks up against the big dogs! :sly:
