Online Free Run Hosted by PD

OK, I'm new to the online content of the GT series, but have the understanding of most the different aspects of lobbies, hosting etc.
But is there (should there be) an open "Free Run" of each track in the game, hosted somewhere on PD servers.

So you can just turn up at any time and drive/ cruise with other online players.

Just like real-life, turning up to the Nurburgring on any given day, pay you 20 Euro and drive

Good idea. The room name should be 'PD Daily Cruise @ (Track Name Here)'.
 
You would probably need to impose various restrictions like regions and possibly vehicle PP ranges to split them up due to the sheer numbers that could be trying to access them.
 
Maybe these rooms could support 32 people since it's on a faster server. FPS would suck however...
 
On the same idea figured id host my own for the local Bathurst track.
Was doing some laps on my own for 10 mins in a stock BRZ, another driver turned up in a golf, we raced a couple of laps, third driver arrived in an NSX, blew our doors off but pulled over till we passed then raced back through.
I guess there IS others out there that want to do casual laps with a bit of a race.
 
That is a good idea.
There's quite a few tracks, so if they hosted a free roam for every single track, its hard to imagine them all being so crowded all the time.

If they are likely to be so popular, thats even more reason to do it.
