ive got a couple of questions for a discussion and opinions. im not trying to start arguments or flaming.

1. why do some people care if you stay in the pits or go and drive before a race? all they have to do is start the race and your car damage resets anyway. makes no sense....

2. why do so many people kick you if they are losing? example: today i was racing a 10 lap daytona (not my room). i drew starting 1st and led lap 1 and some guy passed me on lap 2. so i just followed him and bumped him on the straights to get away from the field. it was me and him after a couple laps. then he smacked the wall around lap 6-7, so i went around, but somehow didnt get him out of the draft (dunno if boost was on or not), so then he started following me. ok, on last lap he runs up on me in turn 2 and i check up, he hits me and puts me a second up. perfect he probably cant catch me now. he instantly quits the race and kicks me. cant people just accept a second place?

anyway, thoughts?

Soor loser? Still a podium finish it's not that big of a deal, right? I come across this also.

As far as 1 goes. I know online the group I've been playing with has had more issues with flakey connections if people are driving when race starts. For several weeks we would get prolonged black screen before race start and occasional people dropped on start.

So we started having people in the pits at race start with large groups to eliminate one variable. So far it seems to have improved but we also are working with a slightly smaller group (12 vs 16) and there have been 2 updates to the software.

So not sure if it is necessary but there was a logical reason why we did it.

grumblecat. i guess that does make sense trying things to eliminate a problem. ive got the black screen before too. it sucks. never thought of that.
