Why can't the private lounge have the same settings as a open lobby.

The private lobby got a option to set max amount of players. Good start, but not really needed. We set maximum amount in open lobbies to avoid random people from joining our race.

We could need Race for real, Race for fun and Drift added to the private lounge. Also the radio button with "fixed host"

Or they could add a password protected open lobby. Lots of championships here using the open lobby as it is the best option to race championship races. And in this case it is not a free for all room.
So we end up kicking people out all the time and if some one is unlucky during the race and disconnect there is room for someone to join. No they cannot join the race, but the message is annoying "random 1" joined the room.. "random 1 join message" popping up while I try to focus on the race.

And naming the room Private or Don't join doesn't work as 50% of the Guys browsing in the open lobby doesn't seem to be able to read.

I like to purposefully join rooms that say "do not join" because thats what private lounge is for.

Ignorance is bliss.. If the private lounge offered the same things as the open lobby did we would have raced in a private lobby. It's people like you we try to avoid, but people like you wont stop us from continue racing in open lobbies.

What options do you have in the open lobbies you don't get in the private lounge?

I thought they were about the same.

Well for me the most important thing is the "fixed room ownership" because the room without require more from each client. And even though we live in (soon) 2012 people around Europe doesn't seem to have the best upload speed. Or their connection do have some sort of cap limit when they used a certain amount of MB's. This is causing lag in a full room. And when I have a full 100mbit upload I have no problem making the room lag free. But we will have to be in a open lobby because we can't set it in a private lounge.

Also the race type: Race for Fun, Race for Real, Drift and Free run. Should be added to the private lounge. Why does friends need to go into the open lobby to have the room in Drift mode?

I agree 100% 👍

We use private lounges for our group and those options would be awesome.

I would also like either a) "friends of friends" being unable to join or b) the ability to boot said friends of friends.

Also in a private lounge anyone can access the host functions including regulation settings, track settings and start race. I've seen several times where a driver accidentally started a race when they just meant to leave the pits. In a public lobby only the host has access to these functions (as it should be).
