Maybe I'm the only silly bugger who hadn't noticed this until now (
), but Supercar Challenge allows you to select ANY car or ANY track available in the game during on-line play, whether or not you've unlocked that particular car or track.
I was always under the impression that the system was similar to Ferrari Challenge and if a player in an on-line game didn't have a particular car unlocked, he would not be able to enter the lobby. And if the host selected a track that a player in the lobby didn't have unlocked, he received a message that some players would be ejected from the lobby. Wrong. 💡 Last night I realized that a player can both open a lobby and/or enter a lobby, no matter what car or track are selected. 👍
And to think that I've turned down 1/2 a dozen race invites over the past two weeks because I didn't have the selected car unlocked and wrongly assumed I wouldn't be able to enter the lobby. And I was trying rather desperately to get 30,000 RP because I REALLY wanted to try and compare the 355 Challenge with it's FC counterpart. And all along I could have driven it on-line. Well, I have it now.
