I gotta guy who spams me with cars he wants rid of. It's different cause I mostly want these cars :)

You asked for our opinions, and received mine.
You say neither of my replies address your question, when your question (as you wrote it) was what our opinions were, and how we would handle the situation.
I did not insult you, I used your thread as an example of different ways to handle a situation. Granted, the first may not be everyones fortay.

I've never been in this situation per se, but I do like to think I'm a pretty fair and kind person online. Early on in GT5 there was someone who came into a room asking if anyone had an FGT. I told him that I'd sent it once the room closed and he promptly left the room and sent me a friend request. Annoyingly he spammed my inbox for the next 20 minutes until I quit the lobby and sent the car. I waited for a thank-you for 12 hours while I slept, and when I woke up and realized I wasn't going to get it, I just un-friended him and moved on.

I still do the same thing to anyone I come across online, just a couple weeks ago I gave away a Zexel GTR just because someone asked for it. I don't know why people are so ungrateful and feel such a strong sense of self-entitlement, but I'm yet to get even a "Thx" from the countless cars I've given to randoms.:indiff:

For your situation I'd probably just mention to him that it'd be nice If he could give something back and If he complained, the unfriend button is just one click away

Right there is your problem, it is in the title to your thread. You are using "online", courtesy and manners in the same sentence. I was a sysop in the 70's running a board back before there was a web, trust me, the bigger the web gets the worse it gets. I wouldn't expect much of either attribute in the vast majority of your online interactions. Sad but true.

I play gt5 online everyday. I must say it is definitely getting better. I see many regulars and as long as your in a room with a decent title and requirements, it will be clean for the most part. The people who are still playing this game must enjoy it like me.

Is there a prize for missing the point by the biggest distance? I am trying to ask about people being disrespectful and impolite and here you are abusing me. His post missed the mark and yours just backed it up.... The original issue has been resolved. Enough! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5kPUFxXYLs

Quite clear now why you get treated poorly by some people online..thanks..lol:sly:
