Whilst online in gt5, i was writing to some people who i 'knew' before going onto the track. I then finished talking and started to drive, about 3mins later, my name appeared with some offensive language in the textbox beneath, yet i was driving... anyone know what thats all about????

P.s as a precaution i have changed my PSN/SEN password and also my email password.

They hit line break a bunch of times to clear the message board, then type your name, then write whatever they want to say below.
 
not a great idea telling the forums how its done! still, i hope they fix this. it would be pretty annoying to have this done to you, sorry mate
 
Ahhhhh the cheeky b*****ds, they were fellow countrymen that i met by chance.

Thanks a lot Schwartz38, i shall be mindful of that in the future.
 
Can be a lot of fun if you`re in a room of under 12s with mics talking about homework/tests & it happens, as they don`t know how it`s done, so ask people & then burst into tears when someone types "[username] cheated at their test!" LOL!

This joke has made me laugh since launch. It's height was after the PSN outage, when everyone (noobs, at least) thought Anonymous was after their console.

Kids these days...
 
All PD would have to do to fix it would be to use a different font for names, or underline them. then we could tell the real from the fake. Just putting that out there, gt5 patchers...

Isn't there already a character at the start of each message that can't be reproduced anyway?

And it's rather obvious when none of the previous messages are visible in the chat window too.

It's just the Alt-F4 gag over again, get caught by it once as a newbie and move on. Nothing to get worked up about.
