Online pictures?

I do enjoy photomode/phototravel very much, and I've seen others taking pictures online. I was wondering how you could take pictures online? I have quite a few ideas for online pictures, which...I also need some volunteers (maybe, I don't have a lot of time to be online and playing). I do apologize if there is an answer to this question somewhere else or the question has been asked.
