online quitters

i have recently bought my network adaptor and began playing in the online community and i have been disturbed by the number of people who quit playing when they are losing. (madden-03 and ncaa 04) this keeps me from building any stats or rep online. i assume that gt4 will have some sort of ranking system also and i'm hoping that they address the quitters in gt4. some how be penilzed for quiting a race and give the people who stay in the race some benefit.

thanks for the post. i just needed to vent because i'm really :banghead: really :banghead: pissed off right now.

if you start a race then finish the race.win or lose. thats all i ask
 
I was playing NCAA 2004 online and some guy quit because it was to slow and it asked me if I wanted to play the computer. So I think if I beat the computer that would add a win to my records. Maybe it will be like that.
 
In madden '04 there will be a ranking system, so if you quit you will either lose stats, or stay the same (can't remember exactly)
 
hmmm I think there are cheats or hacks out there for battle net. ppl quit when they are losing and instead of it being quit, it comes up as ppl being dropped. so it just comes up as DRAW!! grrr..

and they have some stats cheat now for Starcraft...
i mean , just do this next time.

few days ago it was over 6k wins with 1 loss :P
