Online races

Well I've bumped into alot of you guys online now

Amar
Gordie
Pepsi0
to name but a few! All good racers, seems to be leveling off now at 5 players ingame which with the right car can be a laugh, after a few initial hicups I got into a good few hours of glytch free raceing with 5 in a room lots of tracks tried and lots of cars tested online. I've had the odd idiots in races but there a rareity and they really don't do that much harm to your race and usualy get just one go at playing the fool, everyone else 99% have been fantasticly clean racers, 3 abreast on infinion wasn't as hair rasing as you might think when you know the guys around you are trying there hardest not to hit you LOL
Because of the amount of control you have it's very easy to avoid collisions and to leave a door open for quicker guys to get through and it's nice to be able to set an overtaking manouver up a few corners before, when you pull it off it really dose give you a buzz.
So what have you guys found it like? I know theres problems with race numbers but you can get a good race with 4-5 of you, let us all know how your finding it while we wait for the madness of 8-16 player races

It is an amazing game online.
Like you say most people play the game properly and with that you get good racing.
I have had a lot of races online now and can honestly say no one has taken me out.
The best thing about it though apart from the odd glitch when someone joins the lobby when you are racing it is nearly lag free.
The online play blows GT Plologue frog racing away.
It just goes to show that graphics alone do not make a good game.
I had a couple of races today with 8 in the lobby.
The more i play this game the more i like it.
Its one of those games where you think i will just have one more try and before you no it a couple of hours have passed and thats the sign of a good game.

When I was in a race with you I had an absolutely amazing battle. Although I was actually in last place, the racer in 3rd put up a great fight and it really was nice to see racers who will never ramm you off the road, even if they wanted to, they still wouldn't do it. The Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is a larger game which means there'll be many more people, and having loads of online racers in a game makes idiots go crazy, and these idiots are obvioulsy rammers.

But with Ferrari Challenge, there's a much smaller group of people to race with, and all these racers are very nice and great to have a race with.

I did manage some 6 player races tonight with a bunch of guys from core forum. Had a great few battles before it went a bit pear shaped. I did however come across another idiot....oh well, I think because you'll race 100 good racers the 1 idiot sticks out LOL Not so much malicious moves as mad dives up the inside with no way of not collecting you. I did find however by mentioning it "politely" over the headset soon had him pulling back a bit LOL Oh yeah had some good oldie races with a bunch of lads from Germany all good sideways smokey fun...the handbrake dose actualy help with some cars LOL
