(I think this issue MUST have been in the conversation earlier - mods are free to move this post if thread already exists.)
I think its a shame that the EXP one gets from online races is way too low. I race online A LOT but im not interested in offline a/b -spec anymore. The problem is that I would really love to reach LvL40, but thats almost impossible by just racing against other players online. What make this even more frustrating is the fact that winning an online race is 9 out of 10 races A LOT harder that winning any offline race.
I understand that giving more EXP from online races would open doors to some cheating, but cant this be made so that the amount of EXP is calculated from the level of competition? Like rated rooms or minimum number of drivers in a race. If you win a race of 14 drivers you would get alot more exp than winning a race of 3 drivers. Its highly unlikely that one could find 14 players willing to let one win to gain exp fast.
I think it would even be possible to set a "par" laptime for each track on certain PP and the faster the race / average laptime compared to PDs "par" laptime the more exp one would get from the race. Obviously there would have to be quite steap difference between EXP gained by position to prevent freeloaders driving in fast rooms just to gain big EXP from 14th place..
Any ideas? Any opinions? I think this would once again give more lifetime to gt5 - maybe even by rising the maximum player level to lvl50 or lvl60 like its done in MMOGs. Put few exclusive dlc cars one cant get any other way as a price of reaching levels 50 and 60 and there would be a "sht" load of more players back in the game.
(you're welcome PD
)
ps. MMOGs are the ones making all the money. Follow the lead and theres more players buying dlc and PD making more money by making more DLCs for us to buy. Everyone wins? right?
