online racing issues

When racing online, is there more issues ( like being disconnected ) when:

1. driving from the cockpit view rather than front camera view? if yes, does using premium instead of standard make it worst?

2. driving with a wheel using the clutch? Instead of DS3 for example.

and why would that be or not be?

I am hardwired, Nat Type 2 with 2.X mbs download , .66 mbs upload and 49ms ping.

also I reboot, clear cache and burn the occasional candel at the church :)
 
PSN is having issues lately, not just the game.

Given PD's experience so far with this game online, I'd say the candle is your best bet for success:sly:

Its not PDs problem. Its the PSN. See other threads about the same issue.
 
PSN movie downloads have been achingly slow recently
 
Thank you guys. I think we are all aware that there is a general issue with the online feature of GT5.
What I am looking for are answers to my two specific question.

Driving view has no effect. Using a wheel can contribute to the infamous wheel/mic glitch, but wont cause you to be disconnected.

To improve play, bypass routers and hardwire to the modem directly. Should be NAT 1.

Also disable all custom music, as that has caused glitches in the past.
