Online Racing Ratings Vanished

Hi all,

I’m new to the forums. I’m a relatively new GT7 player and just got into online racing. Yesterday evening I noticed I was very close to upgrading my DR from C to B. Today I finished on the podium (gained 3 positions), and the game showed me an up arrow next to my DR. When I went to start a new race, I realized the C-rating status bar had reset and was back at the beginning. I also noticed that none of my wins from yesterday were displayed. For example, I won three races yesterday and had multiple podiums (about two 2nd places and four 3rd places).

I restarted the game and entered a new race, where I again got an up arrow next to my DR, but my rating didn’t move at all. The same issue affects my SR, which stays in exactly the same place even if I have a clean race or receive only a minor TL penalty. I always try to avoid any collisions.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue? It’s really frustrating to have your progress wiped or not progressing at all. Many thanks to you all.

I realized the C-rating status bar had reset and was back at the beginning.

It's a well-known display error. You have more than 100% of the points required to advance your DR level, but it is being prevented from doing so by your SR level not being high enough (I assume yours is C, D, or E).

Get your SR up to B or better and it'll be resolved.

SR is not exactly linked to a Clean Race either. If you want to get your SR up, finish the race without placing three or more tyres off-track at any point and without contact of any kind with other cars or fixed objects. That'll give you the best chance. It should also give you a Clean Race, but Clean Race criteria can vary and don't necessarily overlap fully with SR gains.
