Why dont cars online react and handle the same way as off-line.

Tire wear and fuel effect your cars handling online, and they do not in a-spec, arcade or practice.

Even in one 4 lap race on trial mountain.

Yes. When racing online you also start with cold tires, so you will notice a difference in grip as the tires heat up.

IMO the tires wear too fast online. On the Nurburgring, by the time you get to the karussell on your 1st lap, your tires are already 1/4 worn.

You must be driving like a maniac! I can get two good laps, and another half, out of a pair of racing softs on the 'Ring.

All the fast laps I post in the Nordschleife fast times thread, are done on the second lap too. 👍

Yeah, a 1/4 worn might be pushing it, but they're atleast showing 1/8 worn already. The lack of grip in a high powered rwd race car by the time you exit the karussell on your 1st lap is drastic compared to driving while offline.
