online time trial.

I have just been on the online daytona PP650 time trial and ranked number 1 is a F2007,so i thought i would use this car,but there is no way i could get my points down to 650.So what i want to know is how come this car has got rank 1 if it exceeds the 650 points?
 
good question id like to know that my self i dont have the F1 but still would be nice to know
 
anoter one to add to this is my impreza maxxed out has 643 points but someone else had the same car as me and that had 650 points :S
 
i'm starting to become convinced that there are people who have "hacked" the game and are dominating the time trials. While not as obvious I have been doing the 650pp TT at suzuka and looking at the video of the #3 car and the way the car handles it looks as if the car is in standard mode even though you are meant to be in professional.
 
Me too J-PaP. I've watched a few replays in the online mode aka Lotus Room, and this Elise seemed to be on standard with power beyond the PP, maybe it was amazing skill and top tuning but if a F1 can be sneaked in by hacking PP then I suppose you can push any car over the allocated PP. Do they somehow record data for lower PP and send that data while tuned up beyond the PP.

The car specific time trials located in the arcade section where you have to use stock car and S tyres on pro or standard seem OK, and with more familiar names. I'm probably just paranoid as I've not used the lotus cars that much yet.
 
I hope that PD disqualifies all the cheaters in the time-trails
 
tyres. Only just realized the other day but they have a big influence on the pp's, crap tyres less pp's

It's still not enough to get from 900 pp to 650 pp...

I've gone 48th in the trial with Integra on HSRing in like... half an hour. about 2 seconds behind the fastest Integra. Not happy, but I can accept it.

Now with the Elise in the same track (PRO TT), i've got a 3 digit placing... a couple of light years back.

As I posted today somewhere else, it's hard to go fast on the ring in an elise, with no aids. But when I download the replays from faster guys, it looks like Online racing against "all aids on" chumps. The wheels don't seem to have camber, there is no racing steering activity, just perfection. And on the straight, the car seems faster as if it had standard aerodynamics... which would not allow them to as fast and clean in the corners as they are...

So yes, I'm subscribing to the conspiracy theory :)
 
Did you see the latest online news? Something about deleting times, replays and reseting custom button assignment.

I had wondered if there might be a way to enter all aids of, and use the new in race quick adjust to turn them on... if assigned to same strange button.
