only gt5 disk wont work on ps3

Such is the life of my gt5 experiance. My gt5 disk is the only disk that wont work on my ps3. all other games work (mind you is taking a little longer then normal).
It works on my mates and his wont work on mine.

what do you think, ps3 on its way out??
seems strange that its only one game though.
anyone else had this problem on here and fixed it ?

Not looking good, any suggestions.
 
Maybe the disc is dirty or scratched .
 
Your Blu-ray drive is most likely dying. It can't handle games like GT5 with amazing graphics.
 
Nah the games not scratched or dirty. Works on my roommates ps3 but not on mine, and vice versa with his disk. I backed my game data last week so should be all good. I was just trying to look at it on the ps3 but it doesnt show up.. only shows up when i try to look at it on my computer, is that how it works ??
 
delete patch data. re download thats the problem happened to me with motor storm =D corrupted instal data prevents the game from starting up or even being read...
 
You mean the latest update? i was thinking i'd just send it away and hopefully get a new one:idea:!!
