Only want to Drive Ferrari F1 Car

can it be done ?

I don't want to drive other cars / complete events etc etc ... I want to compare the F1 car from PD to that of PC games.

is there a 'work around' / 'cheat' ..... and no, I simply do not have the time to invest in completing 'achievements' -- just running an F1 2008 league on PC is hard enough


can "game profiles" be shared ?

are there "codes"

cheating has never been a part of gt.

Yes, there were gamesharks but "codes" dont exist for a simulator.....not an arcade game.
 
maybe you could find someone on here that would email you their game save after they have unlocked the car you so desire. then you could put it on a flash drive, save it to your ps3 and get the comparison you crave.

Well, if he wants to buy GT5:P just for the F1 car, then so be it. Its him thats missing out on a good game.

What's stupid is having to earn 200,000,000 credits to get that car. If you had to overcome challenges that would be cool but you have to run the same races over and over and over again until you've earned your money.

It should cost about 60 million. That would be more reasonable.
 
Don't the actual cars in real life cost around 700-800k (pounds sterling)?
 
I think the car should just have been a reward for completing S class races. Completing the same races over and over to earn enough is not fun in my books.

do you know how expensive a formula 1 car is?

agreed, we now have to stoop down to the level of "grinding", something so profoundly geeky it can only be found in the MMORPG genre but is now filtering into our hyper-cool GT reality. PD should not have allowed this...

yeah...

Ive also gone the the Save game route...
Ive done enough grinding in GT over the years..
I work, my game time is limied.. I dont want my GT time to be spent stuffing around in Golfs..

GT is a sandbox to me, not an RPG

out of interest MS7XWDC, how are you finding the F1?
my main point of comparison is the CTDP 05 rFactor F1 mod...
so far the F2007 feels a little forgiving by comparison..

would love to see the full F1 license get rolled into GT
 
i will fully compare later this week to rFactor 2008 car
 
interesting as it may seem if you download the save game you take the fun out the game always make a backup of the original save which i did so at least you can go back to you old game after you have had a go of the f1 cause trust me you cant do much with it not worth the money unless they let you race it online in the next update
